Jesus challenges the dead church in Sardis to become a congregation with true spiritual life.

When a true church tolerates false teaching, Jesus confirms, chastises and commits to the church in their pursuit of holiness. 

A faithful, Christ-centered church can fall prey to false teaching. And if we don’t fight against it, we will find ourselves fighting against Christ.

The faithful church listens to Christ and knows she will be rewarded.
