When Loss is Gain
Sermon Text: Philippians 3:4-8
Sermon Big Idea: Loss is Gain when we no longer try to find peace or worth in our self but instead remember the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus.
Sermon Reflections:
- Do you desire Jesus above all else?
- Are you still looking to your religious heritage, national pride, and/or actions to provide peace of salvation?
- Do you consider it better to suffer with Christ than to be comfortable without Him?
- Make your own list of losses and gains. Will you pray over the list and ask for God’s help to move everything except knowing Christ from the gains to the losses?
